Vinegar Valentine	Jul 17 2007 2:40 PM Things move slowly what with Venus going retrograde and all, but as unsound as proceeding may be, I push push push on with Ergot Player forming and the like. Here is a bit more on what I have in mind… The Ergot players would be guerilla theater, manic, tense, and at all times curious. They would be a touring troupe, with no real home or set members. There would be scheduled performances, but more importantly, random happenings of performance art, Macbeth in the streets, parades, improve and dance. As in Haitian Voudoun dance, participation is key, with the potential for every soul to become player of ergotism. I do not seek fame, but passion and appreciation, I do not seek money, but mind expansion and catharsis. I do not even seek to be a leader, but a catalyst and voice of the collective, the commune the troupe. All are welcome-poets, painters, actors, dancers, authors, directors, sculptors, musicians, magicians, contortionist, film makers, side show folk, revolutionaries, the angry, the happy, and the curious- above all else. We would honor the past, document the present, and carve the future of theater and performance art . Is anybody with me?
