Rock Copthorne, this Sun!
Hi there, our first song is up and were writing some more!
Soon to be looking for gigs in pubs, youth centers, cafes and brofels near you!.
Stay tuned as we'll have more stuff coming soon
London towne, basicly well we could go down together to get it, i might drive but train might be better. Say like in two weeks on the weekend? Unless you want me to just go during the week?
This is basically a myspace which we're using to promote our record company and all the gigs we're doing for our Live Performance class. Videos from the previous two gigs will be up soon along with photos :).. if you are interested in playing then just let us know! Thanks
There is not much price difference imo so you would be better off going for a standard one, plus to get any decent rack you need to get a decent midi controller. I would only recommend it after you have a better understanding of synths anyway as they are more complex and less user friendly.
Oh and yeah I wouldnt wait, the guy wanted £250 but I asked for £230. My friend has a CS1x which is like a less complex version and that was his first synth. Its got a wicked sick arp and you can get some very good sounds and has all the analog filters you need. And for your style I wouldnt wait for any Korg MS2000s I would just go for it.
Up 2 u, but if I had more money I would have that synth lol
Yo, Yamaha AN1X for £230, sounds good to me, Ive used the CS1x which is its little cousin. I would recommend. If your willing I will go and check it out as its in London and then if you give me £230 ill come back with it so you can collect, ill make sure its in good order etc. Also ex studio so its not been gigged
okay, yeah i'll have a scan for new synths. Otherwise if all else fails then you could just get a midi controller and use synths on the computer if you get a laptop or something.
I'll search up sound on sound etc and then if I find a decent one i'll message you as I know what your budget is.
ok you mean vst's? Basicly set up all the .dlls in a folder and then chose that folder under the ableton settings and make sure you rescan it everytime you add more VST's.
Oh and if your having a problem with loudness then maybe record in Audacity if you get higher levelling and then import into Ableton? Usually loudness is because of the external instrument but you can add gain etc
in fact we are puting on a charity gig with camaro, and we all have choice who plays with us, so we wil most probably be being in touch with you about that one
dude i actualy didnt notice that. lol were all good thanks, we are tring to get as much gigs as posible vut its arkward because we are all going on holiday at different times. how are you guys?
yeah, well what is your mobile number, i can just text you 2mo as i have to go to the phsio in the mornin but im free after and yeah bring ur synth if u want.
erm well basicly, i would just try and get one of ebay as its made in the 2000s and they dont make it anymore in production but maybe try sound on sound as well.
hey guys hope to see u at hazelwcik on the 20th of June supporting all the local bands to raise money for luke Carter! its a worthy cause and will be a great night!
