We are a labor union in New York City. The city is home to over 10,000 nonprofits that do incredible work. Yet the workers at these organizations are often underpaid and have little say in their workplace.
We believe by forming unions at nonprofits we can make the organizations stronger. Workers with a voice on the job are happier. Nonprofits have less turn over and can attract a more diverse staff.
We should be able to do good, live in NYC, and have a say in the direction of our workplace.
