About me:
Unconventional Denver meets every Tuesday at Hooked on Colfax, located at 3215 E Colfax Ave. These are open meetings so come on down!
Unconventional Denver is an autonomous chapter of Unconventional Action, a network of anarchists and anti-authoritarians organizing against the political conventions happening this summer.
The name Unconventional Action is available to all who:
*Reject all forms of hierarchy including capitalism, party communism, patriarchy, white supremacy, colonialism, and so-called representational politics
*Organize on a non-hierarchical, consensus-based basis that promotes autonomy, solidarity, grass-roots involvement, and the agency of those most affected by each decision
*Embrace a diversity of tactics
*Do not condemn any action on the grounds that it is illegal alone

We are looking for musicians and groups to perform at the DNC protests. From punk, folk, hip hop, and everything in between. We are getting venues on board but we need musicians!!! If you are an interested send an email to: unconventionaldenver@riseup.net

Who I'd like to meet:
Unconventional Denver is excited to work with Denver locals and people across the country to oppose the multi-million dollar party the Dems are throwing at our expense. We are interested in working with any and all radical and progressive folks who are shut out and unrepresented by the current system. Even if we may disagree on certain points, we feel that more often than not we can find common ground with others so that we can work together for a better world.
