2bob has been in existence since 2004. We book bands. All the fucking time. We put lots of nights on so hopefully some good bands can get some exposure. We DJ. We have parties. We live in SOUTH LONDON, though we're not averse to the north now and then. We like interesting music. We like you.
Bands that have played our nights at The Fox include:
The Spinto Band DJ Scotch Egg Shitmat Miss Black America Let Our Enemies Beware William Chet Popular Workshop Special Benny Tom Allalone Hot Rocket Trio Shackleton Bolt Action Five Up-C Down-C Blah Blah Blah Dogshow Russell Joslin Their Hearts Were Full Of Spring Johnny Flynn Amycanbe Mozzy Green Battle Bretton Nebraska Honeycube Docksud Brickface Mumrah
and a feckload over there on the left who we love equally
2bob runs nights at The Fox, 316 Lewisham High Street, Lewisham
Bands and DJs every Thursday, acoustic stuff every Sundays. Also, odd and random Fridays Saturdays etc whenever we feel like it,
We used to run nights at other places, too, like The Buffalo Bar, The Betsey Trotwood, The Paradise Bar, The Montague Arms, Catch in Shoreditch, The New Cross Inn and The Dirty South, but now we don't :)
If we don't reply to your messages/requests straight away don't fret. There's not always time to. We get a lot, and might well just be keeping you in mind for a future night or something. Guinness!
Check out the top nine track selections from London's most enneagonal turntablist; our very own Simon Number Nine

EYES and Skitanja on tour --- FREE SHOW --- The Bird's Nest, Deptford on Wednesday 2 July from 7. 30pm
Skitanja: Resonance FM's mighty Hello Goodbye Show picked these as the band to watch for 2008.
"... not unlike a 10 disc cd changer with ADD, loaded with jazz, gabba, skronk and opera, turned up loud and pushed down the stairs." Reckno
EYES: psychedelic soul from the pioneers of the East Moline sound.
N, N minus: Casiotone + noise. Like intense hay fever irritation and itch without Piriton. Recently voted most inappropriate band in Europe.
Cnidoblast: synthetic drums and a monolith --- rare performance from the Mentalist Association recluses
"Cni"do*blast.., n. [Cnida + -blast.] (Zo["o]l.) One of the cells which, in the C[oe]lenterata, develop into cnid[ae]. " Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary

Monthly club night dishes up another serving of creative live electronica, with tKatKa, the headliners, playing the ambient/beats mash-up that is their second album, 'TerrorKnowlegeAction'. TIMEOUT
Join us for another Big City Redneck Presents! Another wonderful eruption, nay, ejaculation of good music at the Buffalo Bar this month!
What can I say? We won’t disappoint.
Buffalo Bar June 19th £6 on the door… 8.30pm till they kick us out…
Mama Shamone http://www. myspace. com/mamashamone “Put Mama Shamone on at any venue and they are likely to take the roof off, this was one of the best live shows I’ve seen in years - certainly one of the best in London. In my opinion these guys are destined for greatness, it felt like I was witnessing history being shaped-something was just so right about what they were doing up there.” Vibe Bar
We Yes You No www. myspace. com/weyesyouno “We Yes You No sing about the end of the world, the end of everything. But in an apocalypse that would sound like this I would buy god’s last EP” – Big City Redneck
Language http://www. myspace. com/languageuk “"The verbosity of funk, the poetic twang of intelligent pop. The bridge between Franz Ferdinand and Smashing Pumpkins perhaps" – Bugbear
They asked for a show actually, I couldn't listen to them cus my net was fucked but ive heard it now and its actually quite funny. I need to formulate some experiMETAL line up if booking them is the case.
Shot By Both Sides returns south to the "ramshackle bohemian atmosphere" of Brixton Windmill on Friday May 30th, with a Spektakular Soireé - expect degeneracy and bloodlust!
Fanzine handout, cakes, poetry, stories, a gritty psych/freakout jazz/fucked-pop/post-punk soundtrack, and some disturbingly delightful live sets from LUPEN CROOK & THE MURDERBIRDS, DAVID CRONENBERG'S WIFE & more...
