Video gaming (to the point of doing no work); Star Trek (Rob, the ed of Twitch, and Aaron are both obsessive about it, but don't hold it against them); jumping out of planes (no, really, it's great fun... you should try it, Rob)
Music
Aaron: Pink Floyd, particularly the middle years (The Wall is my favourite album, but who can forget Dark Side of the Moon? The early Syd years are interesting, to say the least.) Old rock bands nobody can remember like Genesis; New Order typify my 80's love affair and in modern times I've been known to listen to Air. Thereafter, an unhealthy obsession with film soundtracks.
Movies
Aaron: Too many to mention. I'm really fond of thought or emotional provoking movies, less hot on Hollywood blockbusters. I recall 2005 I think it was going to see The Fantastic Four and Stealth, in that order, over the summer and being turned off any kind of major picture well into 2006. At the moment I'm loving Sofia Coppola's work in the run up to seeing Marie Antoinette. Lucky me it's too movies - The Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation.
Television
Aaron: Screw TV, I can't actually remember the last time I've sat down to watch an hour or two of programming, beyond a movie or documentary I've heard about online. Even the 24 hour news annoys me with its repetitiveness. Where's the box here for "Internet"? Hmm?
Books
Aaron: Funny enough I just came across a site for cataloguing your book collection. Check mine out @ Shelfari History books are a big part of my shelf, and I've been reading Terry Pratchett's Discworld books for years now, so I have an extensive collection there.
Heroes
Aaron: Ricardo Montalbán. Come on, the name, the accent.... the chest.
About me: TwitchGuru.com is a site dedicated to the culture and interests of gamers. Coming from the same pedigree of Tom's Hardware Guide, we enjoy gaming, films, TV, comic books... you name it. Rob Wright is the editor of TwitchGuru, and Aaron McKenna works for the same company and makes it look like he's doing work by knocking off the odd article for TwitchGuru as an excuse to do no real work all day.
whats up guys, next gen gaming is a sham, i've fried one 360 and the new one still has major issues (i.e. freezing and makin me loose 3+ hours of gameplay)...they're pushin their new technology a little bit much. adios amigos, like the articles btw.
