Tunji Dada is an accomplished pianist, songwriter, audio engineer, music producer and artist. He was born and raised in the oil rich (5th largest world producer), West African nation of Nigeria. Nigeria is the most populous black nation and one of most culturally diverse nations in the world.
He started out his musical career in 1985, when he became the teenage church pianist/organist. His first musical mentor was his father, who was then the local church's choir director/conductor. Since then, he's had many opportunities to teach, direct and accompany many musical groups. He always been passionate about developing people, an attitude that made him leave positive influences on the people he's worked with.
Tunji has had the priviledge of being widely exposed to a wide variety of musical styles and expressions. His influences range from Debbusy to Chick Corea.....from Lionel Richie to Handel. His wide exposure gave him a rich and balanced foundation early on in his musical development, out of which he had been able to form a unique sound for himself.
Tunji produced his first album in 1992, he has since had the opportunity of working with many artists in Nigera and in the UK.
He has now released his own debut album (samples here) featuring his own compositions.
