About me: Music is one of the most powerful things on the face of the Earth! It should be, GOD created it! With a degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting, I was able to host, "The Threshing Floor", on 89.1 The Bash! I played the latest in alternative, rock, metal, progressive and hardcore, I played it all! As of May 4th, I quit 89.1 The Bash, because I really just felt limited, in what I could say and do! So after much thinking and praying, I will create, "The Threshing Floor Radio Podcast"! It seems that many, although not all, lyrics in music today are just filled with dark and depressing words! I believe, that their is a time and place for those songs to be written, as long as their is hope, that soon follows! Let's face it, life is dark and depressing at times, but we need to learn to cry out and hold on to hope, and that hope has to come from within! If you don't have hope, what do you have, you have nothing! I choose to focus on just that, hope! Life is beautiful, problems and situations are only temporary, trust me I know! Their has been times in my life when I thought I wasn't going to make it, been to hell and back so to speak, but I made it! I'm still kickin' and enjoying life, at it's fullest! I personnally believe, that one person can change the world, and I plan to do just that, one podcast, one show, one note, one word and one song at a time! Hey! Its Travis (dork who runs the park) I was wanting to send everybody an update and comments is the easiest way.
The skate park will be open this Saturday from 1:00 till dark for open skating (no charge- the only time we charge admission is when we're doing a concert)
Also- EVERYDAY SUNDAY is going to be playing a show at the skate park later this month (MAY 29TH) with Arts and Sciences, The Clocktower showdown and John Davey. The show should be pretty awesome if you can come and it will help the park out a lot too (since these shows are how we are paying off the ramps and saving up for more and other advancements)

Hope you can make it to our grand opening. We started building ramps for this last weekend and its looking awesome. Pics of them will be up soon.
