val's Interests
General
Readers, writers, books, movies, music, computers, people ...not necessarily in that order
Music
Looking for music you can't find on Clear Channel but afraid of infecting the family computer with malware or running afoul of the copyright cops? The library has a wealth of music for every age and stage and I gladly take advice on hot titles we need to add.
Movies
Blockbuster is great for quick access to recent popular titles but the library is cheaper and we have titles the media moguls don't bother to stock. Browse in person or improve your chance of getting new hot titles by putting them on hold. You can place a hold from home through your computer or by picking up the phone and calling us at 635-5631.
Television
From old standards and cult classics to recent HBO titles the library system has a great collection of titles that debuted on the small screen. Check the catalog! It's easy to place holds with a library card and a pin number and easier on your budget than the video store.
Books
Tech is great and I'm a media fiend myself but the written word still rules. Whether you love fantasy or just the facts we have most of the books you want to see and if we don't we'll be glad to borrow it from libraries outside our system or consider adding it to the collection.
Heroes
Library users! They know how to stretch a dollar. With free books, movies, music, computer access and great programs the library continues to be one of the most cost effective uses of local funds.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that my latest forensic crime thriller, Freezer Burn, is coming out June 3! It will be available in bookstores everywhere next week, and it’s available for preorder on Amazon right now! I'll be doing a bunch of events in and around Philadelphia. For details, see my profile. Thanks for the friendship!
Join me this Sunday, 7-9 p.m. EST for an online chat at www. writerschatroom. com, where I'll be chatting about writing, publishing, my books, and pretty much anything else you'd care to discuss.
Thanks for the add! Keep your eyes out for my bestselling fantasy novel, Paraworld Zero. I just found out last night that it's a finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. Yahoo! Have a wonderful day!
