Changing lives…Building community!
The Portland Vegan community is one of the strongest and most active in the world. With thousands of vegans, several activist groups and dozens of businesses we are planning an unprecedented outreach campaign to support hundreds of portlander's interested in making a change in their diet. As a community we will all work together to support anyone interested in trying veganism for a week.
Part of T.V.W. is an intense outreach and media campaign. Including a week of daily events, including hundreds long time Vegan veterans paired with new interested people. Lectures, dine-outs, store tours, and vegan prom! Help us organize this landmark event!
Who I'd like to meet: We need experienced vegan mentors to help people along the way and people thinking about or interested in veganism that would like to participate.
