CALL TO ACTION PHONE CAMPAIGN

There is a bill (A421) in the Assembly Ways & Means Committee in New York regarding the elimination of the per mile tax.

This issue effects all drivers that run through the state of New York. You probably know this as HUD tax.

We are asking for support with a phone campaign to impress upon the Governor of New York to get this bill past.

FUCK GAS PRICES!	Jun 24 2008 12:03 AM NO TRUCKS move in 2 weeks for 2 weeks! I was just TOLD. I just had a meeting with Teamster and Non Teamster Truckers, I am told in 2 weeks their TRUCKS WILL STOP ! for 2 weeks, no shipments by trucks in the United States for 2 weeks in protest of high gas Prices! Jimmy Hoffa did something like this several times back in the 1930's and 1940's, but this is different. Unionized Truckers will call in like Police do during the police's BLUE FLU since Police can not go on STRIKE!, the Teamster members are under Union contracts- Collective Bargaining Agreements most of which have a "No Strike Clause" during the life time of the contract. Non-Union truckers are independent contractors and will turn down contracts during the 2 week strike. Department of Homeland Insecurity is on the move to bring in truckers from Mexico in trucks that are not up to US safety standards with drivers from Mexico who speak very little or no English and can not read freeway or interstate traffic signs. Expect the highways and freeway to be UNSAFE during this 2 week time period. Plan your travel away from major highways for your own safety. There is a good chance of DANGER on US highways during this strike due to the US government bring in SCAB LABOR to replace striking truck Drivers. STOCK UP on FOOD AND WATER since the Grocery stores will be empty in 2 to 3 days after the strike starts. I am considering the TIMING and might give the go ahead to PICKET WITH FUCK GAS PRICES picket signs in support of the TRUCKERS STRIKE! Looks like July 7th as I am told by these truckers... M.T.M. PS I think the date should be LABOR DAY WEEKEND since High gas prices are fucking with every working man and working woman! SHUT DOWN THE WHOLE SYSTEM ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND AND STAY HOME AND KEEP THE $$$ YOU WOULD SPEND ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND!

Perhaps if other truckers in different countries joined them we wouldn't need to merely beg to politicians, but act on our own terms and actually get what we want.
Shaun	Jun 10 2008 8:49 PM i was reading about the stike over in europe,their getting things done over there.hell everybody in transportation of sum sort is involved.why cant we get organized like that.hell u company drivers need to relize were in this together now all the way.even ur future in this industry is fading very quickly.lets stick together now.i added my fuel up for the last 3months for my tractor and i refuse to idle no matter what the weather and i spent just about $52000.00...............eye opener aint it.

Asking them to remove the Brokers as conduits of your funds, and put it in a Secured Funding System??? Then and only then, will you have "True Transparency" and the first thing is business is to be privy to a transaction, and acquire "Secured Funding" with minimal risks......instead of a "Good Faith System" that is outdated..... If you are for this.......request me as a friend, as we are starting a petition to take the brokers responsibilites away as the conduit of our funds.... THEN YOU WILL HAVE POWER, AND SO MUCH CORRUPTNESS WOULD GO AWAY IN THIS INDUSTRY........ Including Quick Pay fees....
