Wendell (Trey's father) has been performing for audiences for over 30 years and has received numerous accolades for his powerful vocals. Until devoting his talents exclusively to Trey & the Road Dawgs, Wendell was the tenor/lead in the Southern Gospel group Call to Worship Quartet for over 10 years. When Trey realized his calling in life, it was only natural to team up with his dad and pursue a career in music together. Wendell is also an accomplished songwriter, having composed Easter and Christmas musicals as well as many secular arrangements. His musical influences include Dan Fogelberg, Garry Morris, Vince Gill, and Garth Brooks among too many others to mention. For now, he is enjoying sharing the stage with his son and spending quality time traveling and performing with his best friend. "It doesn't get much better than that!"
Brandon Armbruster - Bassist
Born in the birthplace of Rock and Roll and raised in a musical family, Brandon quickly developed the music bug. Starting off as a trombone player and then soon picking up the Bass guitar, he has played with numerous groups in the Memphis area. He also developed a talent for Sound Engineering. He quickly polished up his skills to work in both small and large scale concert situations. He has worked directly with Henry Rollins and Scott Grimes, also acted as part of the local crew for Fuel and Sevendust. He has worked Memphis in May on numerous occasions as a Stage Manager. Early in 2006 he became Road manager and FOH engineer for Leon Russell. He is now off the road and he's building his own soundcompany Peak Audio.
Dustin Carr - Drums
Bio still being written.
Jon Brewer - Keyboard
Jon Brewer has been playing piano and keyboards for 20 years. Reared primarily around Southern Gospel music, Jon was instantly drawn to the excitement that pioneers in the industry such as Hovie Lister and Howard Goodman brought to the table. Formal training began at a young age and continued throughout adolescence, and he then studied piano pedagogy, trumpet, and music theory at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. As a performer Jon has performed with various artists in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, and also worked done solo work mainly for weddings, receptions, and formals. His goal is to always bring the same "zest" that his idols of yesteryear played with. He has played all styles of music from classical to funk, pop to R&B. In 2006 he joined the TJDC crew and got his first taste of performing country. Being a 'Road Dawg' is something I've grown accustomed to, and have no plans to change that.

View Trey Jewell's EPK Rising country star Trey Jewell is a singer/songwriter born and raised in the prolific musical environment of Memphis, TN. Trey came by his musical interest honestly as he followed his father’s career as a solo artist and as the tenor/lead in the southern gospel quartet Call to Worship.
Trey’s family and friends recall he came into this world hardwired for music. At the tender age of 12 Trey discovered his mother’s student guitar and seemed to innately understand the instrument. Having already performed in church and with his dad, the combination of guitar and vocals gravitated quickly to songwriting.
At the age of 13 Trey penned his first song “Blue Rider” which many of his fans still acknowledge as one of his greatest compositions. Writing beyond his years, Trey honed his skills to produce haunting melodies to showcase his lyrics which drive home the pain of a broken heart and the joy of love.
At 14, Trey assembled his first band and self-produced his demo “The Acoustic Set” including 5 original songs. This demo was later expanded into a 10 song collection released in November of 2006. That was when Dad decided it was time to head 200 miles east to Nashville to help Trey pursue his dream.
The very first day Trey hit Nashville, he was showcasing his talent everywhere he went with his dad on his left providing harmonies that only come from close family. They were quickly noticed and asked to record Trey’s Nashville debut CD “All Roads Lead to You”, released in June of 2007.
It has been an eventful experience since the CD release party in Music City USA. Trey has performed at several venues opening for the Flat River Band, James Beau Edwards, Rio Grand, and Rick Monroe in addition to headlining at Hard Rock Café on Beale Street in Memphis and The Legendary Beach Wagon in Myrtle Beach, SC.
One of the 2008 highlights was making many new fans and performing at Whiskey Island and Cadillac Ranch during CMA Fan Fest in April. These performances helped Trey secure an investor and a producer for his next project slated to be released by the end of 2008.
Trey’s music continues to be played worldwide as he gains new listeners through treyjewell.com, his MySpace, and his high-energy live shows.
