Kris Wadsworth takes sounds from the depths of techno and house, and wraps them around a sweaty dancefloor to bring you:"Get Your Wadsworth."
The B side is flat-out moody! "Sorta Down" (B2) takes a sparse approach to house music: a knockin' low end, melancholy electric piano, and a funk-a-fied electric riff to mood you into shakin' it. "Det Sound" (B1) pays respect to the classic sounds one may have fallen in love with in regards to Detroit house and techno. Dub-ish textures, simmering percussion, sassy sax riffs, and some classic sounds to make you smile and get down.
The A side? The A side socks it to ya! Buzzing, distorted bass that evolves with the track and shocks the low frequency. Soulful, other-worldly vocal pieces make this track emotional and deep, yet tangible. The lush, deceptively complex melody screams at one's senses to open up and enjoy this moment.
