The Topside first opened its doors TWENTY-FIVE years ago with a simple goal of making you feel at home. Today, that goal is still unchanged. To ensure this, we make certain that our restaurant and bar are clean and comfortable, our services are friendly and efficient, and most importantly, that our food is consistently excellent. Who I'd like to meet: For those who need directions, then your prayers have been answered!!! From Providence: Take 195 E to the Barrington exit (Exit 7) which is 114. Stay on 114. Stay on 114. Don't get off 114!! Seriously it really is that easy. You will go through East Providence, Barrington, Warren and Bristol. The Topside will be on your right hand side after Colt State park, and right before the downtown area. From Newport: Go the the Mount Hope bridge and cross. Stay on 114. Topside will be on your left after the Downtown area. From Southern Mass (i.e. Fall River, Somerset): 195 W to Warren/Newport exit (Exit 2). This will put you on rt 136. Follow 136 until it turns into Metacom Ave. Stay on Metacom until you see a Wendy's on your left hand side (In Bristol). At the light take a right (Gooding Ave.) Follow Gooding till the end. Here you will take a left on 114 (Hope St.) Follow 114 past Colt State Park and look for Topside on your right hand side before the downtown area. See you soon!!!
