Hi everyone, my name is Tons, a local Tahiti boy inspired by all sorts of music, coz I see no end when u love, I've been hanging around in Europe for 2 years, and I feel like a baby discovering and uncovering the new, after having spend 22 years on my island (it's really bizzare I see "2" everywhere, I'm even born the 2nd of january, life is so weird sometimes isn't it)
I'm really delighted to present you the songs that we composed with Brice and Xavier!! lol There are just three of us and I think that's more than enough to make sweet sounds.
The first track that u hear when u get in my profile is entitled "Veroia". This was the name of my lil brother (it means "the tempest in tahitian" and he really was, he used to play drums like a fury) we lost him on the 21st of february 2007 at the age of 19, 5 days after a car accident, I cannot describe the pain that hit me at that moment and that still lingers, as I was in England when it occured, but i did have the chance to see him before his soul rose (thanks to my big brother Maiko who sorted everything out from Tahiti to bring me back on time, thanks a lot bro) so I just let the melody poured out of my mind, my soul, and my heart... and made the alchemy of our love to each other and telling his life itself throughout this melody.
Yes I loved him more than anyone on the earth, he was my balance and still is in a spiritual way. When feelings get too strong I just let it flower into a melody.
I just want people to know that this melody is a tribute to my lil brother Veroia, life is meant to be a mix of happiness and pain but it's so tough at times. I miss our jams so bad, with his natural flow to play drums. True love comes from a high up above and one day we'll be together again in the hand of the Almighty, you and I bro we are one now. The name of the band is now Veroia.

The other songs are made especially with Brice my music mate forever since, yeah we have a tremendous connection into it, he's doing the drums on some songs and percussions on all of them, all the lil sounds as meaningless as possible it's him lol, backing vocals as well yeah a vocationist as jason Mraz would say ;) just like Toca, harmonies and percussion, then sometimes rythmic guitar when I'm crap following the click (it just happens when I'm tired lol :) yeah actually he's a whole band by its own :)
Xav came quite after we started playin with Brice, in order to fill up with backing vocals and Ukulele, but he is a very good composer as well, someday I'll put his emotional melancholy song he made for a friend of him a world renown tahitian surfer who caught a wave to heaven, rest in bliss M.J xxx
For my part, I'm dreaming of singer and song writer lol I bring the rough songs and we perfect it altogether (if I may say), it happens that sometimes they don't need to change anything humm lol yeah I do the lead guitar, and the lead voice, there you go.
Thanks to my mama, dad, my brothers (Veroia and Maiko) to my sistas (Sylvie and Mihia), my family, friends and all the persons that support me from far away, thanks a lot, it gives me a real power to meet beautiful melodies in my wandering mind... thanks a lot for your support and to carry me spiritually.
