About me:
I was raised to love and fear God, treat women with respect, and to never leave the dinner table with food left on my plate. I wear t-shirts, shorts, and flip flops all the time. I love fishing, hiking, and camping. I enjoy the company of Family & Friends more than anything else.

I'm not the token stereotypical Christian that the world has come to hate... I don't have the "holier than thou" attitude- I don't judge people on their imperfections. I don't force my beliefs on anyone, nor do I compromise my beliefs for anyone. I'm not two faced- the me you see at church on Sunday is the same exact me you will find at a punk/hardcore show, a bar, school, work... anywhere. I'm not a big fan of Hillsong (sorry...) and I don't much care for 95% of contemporary Christian music- I have nothing against it, I just don't find myself listening to it much outisde of church or my mom's car lol BUT there is nothing I love more than to sing songs from the Baptist Hymnal. I don't support abortions or gay marriage, but I also don't think people that have different views on those subjects should be shunned from church's or told God hates them for it. I don't see the harm in having a drink or smoking a cigar, as long as you do it in moderation and not to the point to where you are drunk or get addicted, and only if you abide by the law of the land and do it within a legal age limit. Yes, Mary was an important person but she's not someone I would pray to. It was God's grace that saved me, not how many "good works" I perform. Asking a priest to forgive me and pray to God for me doesn't fly for me... "No Pope, No Priest, Nor Cardinal over me! I call NO ONE 'Father' except the One True God". I think there are pro's and con's to ANY church/denomination, and that emphasizing the importance of man-made rituals as a step to getting into Heaven and being saved is bogus. I don't think Church and reading you Bible is neccisary to be a Christian but in order to grow in your walk you do need to practice what you believe, dwell on it, and surround yourself in an environment that will effect your growth as a Christian in a positive manner. Bring on the hate if you disagree with me- I honestly don't care if you have different views on "religion" than me, but I would hope you would respect my views in the same manner that I would respect your personal views. And last but not least, I'M NOT PERFECT- I screw up all the time, but I know God forgives me for the stupid things I do sometimes, and it's His unconditional love that keeps me going everyday. Amen!
