Bringing out a sound of simple, innocent pop-punk to their hometown of Croydon, England, Toast just wanted to have fun.
With a lyrical content that dealt with drinking and being sick, Toast put away their Screeching Weasel, Descendants, and Bad Religion records to record their first EP Smart Kids, Dumb Music, released on Crackle Records in 1995. The following year, Toast continued to lay the snot-punk on thick with their second single "Come Dancing With...," which was also on Crackle. ~ Mike DaRonco
