yea me and my fam went to Hong Kong n Japan for almost a month! It was a pretty awesome experience. HK was a trip cuz I was born over there but havn't went back for almost 13yrs, keep going to places like searching for childhood memories. Food is excellent in Hk n cheap. Japan was pretty crazy, Japan is like another world from another planet. A lot of electronic only existed in Japan. I went to a place called Akihabara, the largest n most popular electronic shopping area in Japan. I will go back there again in the future cuz I spent the whole day just explored only 1/10 of the area. There were so many things to check out. Electronic, computer, anime, arcade, action figure/models, games all kind of things. Went to hot spring for the first time, hot as shit haha. The train stations are a little confusing for the first time. But overall It was an awesome experience. It's good to know you are keeping yourself busy, but I hope you can continue work on more CG stuff n focus on the career in CG, I know alot of CG company is hiring. I'm going back to work on my demo and trying to draw at lease an hour a day. I'm hoping I can go to siggraph in August, but only if I can finish it in time. I still have many things to work on. It's nice to hear from you too, keep in touch Tim n keep me posted on the progress. laterz
