I've completed a few years of ASL study and help interpret services and events for my deaf friend from church. I've been married to my best friend since 1994. We have two cats, and we're in the process of adopting older children. I am an adoptee myself, adopted at birth in Okinawa, Japan.

Nah, I'm not writing like I'd like to. I throw down a piece of short fiction here and there, mostly humor. It ends up on my myspace or my site. But I don't feel like I've really given anything the effort of putting out a real *story* in a while. It'll come back, I still feel the pull, but I write a lot for work/school right now, which takes the writing energy out of me.
