Throttlecaster's songs speak about real life issues, inner feelings, struggles, war - things that a lot of people can relate to. He was hugely influenced by metal and hard rock. Biggest influences include Alice in Chains,Nirvana, Metallica, Children of Bodom, Apocalyptica to name a few.

First song to be recorded was Mortal Man. Producer was Cory Bitner. Touring Alberta and British Columbia proved to be a great experience. Throttlecaster's music was well received. After many live shows time came to record the first album. In 2007 Erko worked with a producer/guitarist Cory Bitner and the ten best songs became the debut album called “Restless Journey”. The line-up has changed over time, but the drive to produce amazing songs has not.

Currently the second album is under way. Brace for impact!
