About me: "dirty words" in studio. we're about songs... had imprint with lava/atlantic for long enough. a&r chief todd parker, 25, was also senior director of a&r at windswept publishing. producer john lewis parker's done lots of diverse stuff; from producing a grammy winning album for blues great keb' mo' (& co-wrote the "w.c. handy" blues song of the year), to writing the grammy nominated (record of the year), "hard habit to break" for chicago. at lava, todd signed "smile empty soul" & john developed the band, producing the album "smile empty soul"(gold) and ses tracks for the "spiderman 2" and "the punisher" albums. we developed "the summer obsession" and placed them on virgin.
we're looking for real artists who aspire to reveal their soul and say something that touches other human beings... then, success will come as a natural result. just one thing... we want to work with artists that can actually fucking write!
