| About Three Hams on Rye |
|
Three Hams on Rye began in 1991 playing Renaissance Festivals. Some of the festivals we've appeared at are:
- Scarborough Faire
- Texas Renaissance Festival
- Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival
- King Richard's Faire
- Pocono Reniassance Festival
- New York Renaissance Faire
Since moving to Charlotte, NC we haven't been actively playing and producing as much. Our music horizon has broadened a great deal though by the number of different pickers we jam with here. Dave nearly cut off the end of his left index finger in a work accident and as a result he is focusing more on the bass rather than guitar.
About our Barbecue and Chili Team...yes, that's right; we now compete in bbq and chili cookoffs.
We're just getting started with this but it's going well so far. There's a funny story about our first place finishes in our first two chili cookoffs so next time you see us, ask about it.
