The XYZ Affair is: Alex Feder, Chris Bonner, Sam Rockwell, and Russ Maschmeyer. They share an apartment in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Their debut album, "A Few More Published Studies," is out now and can be purchased at the link below, in a few select shops, and out of the back of their van, a.k.a. "The Compliment."
So I flipped out when I heard you guys were touring. Then I was bummed to see that you're not coming somewhere close enough for a broke college kid to manage attending. So, stop by KC sometime soon. I'll be there for sure.
omg. i was just thinking about your upcoming chicago show and thought... 'gee. wouldn't it be amazing if xyz affair happened to play with par avion (my fav chicago band)' and lo and behold i get a message from them today telling me about the show they're playing with you!!! all my dreams have come true!!!

I've only been listening to this band for two or three months now, but last night I had a dream that you guys covered "Won't Get Fooled Again" by the Who. It was the single greatest cover of all time. I would urge you guys, if you ever find a free moment, to jam on this track, for I have seen the results, and they are objects of wonderment. Then, if you feel doubly kind, put a demo up here :D

Alex, I wholeheartedly reject the notion that we behaved in any way unbefitting to the generosity that was shown and contrary to the high moral fiber we both possess. However, I find hilarity in the fact that you chose to address this in such an open forum. Deep and sincere apologies to Sam though :)
haha. Honest honest there was no boning done in your bed. We actually managed to do it in Sam's bed while he was still sleeping. But your bed, nothing done.

You dudes rocked in Chapel Hill the other night. I wore my XYZ Affair shirt at band practice tonight and everyone agrees that the Revenue to Solos graph, while depressing, is totally true. Come back soon!
Hey! You all were awesome at Caledonia last night! Your vocal harmonies are so amazing! And sweet dance moves! Really digging the album. Looking forward to the new ep. Have a fun and safe rest of the tour.
