Originally started as a duo featuring Mark Benedix and Bryan Kezer, Supercat found popularity performing their acoustic-style rock at a variety of venues. The Cocoa Beach Pier, Captain Hirams and Scruffy Murphy's were just a few of the regular clubs Supercat performed in.
When Supercat wasn't performing, the duo's band 'The Wunderdogs' played their eclectic blend of classic rock b-sides and prog-rock covers in many of the same nightclubs but also found popularity in playing private parties.
Mark and Bryan toured the United Kingdom in 2005 bringing their unique musical style to English pubs across the countryside. From Coventry to Cornwall, Supercat gained friends and musical allies across the pond.
..
Returning from their UK tour, Mark began to pursue his original music career and found success with an independent record label.
Since their return in 2006, Supercat has taken an extended hiatus in pursuit of their other 'real-life' goals.
As of January, 2008, Supercat returns by popular demand with a new lineup, new sounds, new songs and new superpowers. An extensive booking schedule has begun- focusing primarily on larger metro markets- however Supercat will still perform locally.

ok ya kuddo's for papa gig!! couldn't find your comment, may be trying to get down-town with humble hopes of throwin' down a shared of new--anti-snob-jazz-20 minute set brian, simone and andy and gang ... later on frankie's this blue-jazzers wearin' finger nails off with garage dwg/garden work .. not fit for jazz brunch-prima-donna saxaphone muzak crowd ?
Thanks man. I think a lot had to do with us having a drummer that knew the songs so we didn't have to worry about what was gonna happen with him. -Jeff
