About The Stroby Alliance

The Stroby Alliance formed in 2003 and performed its firsts shows at Cal's and the infamous Sweatbox series hosted by Big Buildings in their basement on N. Seeley Ave. in Chicago. Comprised of Drovers bassist David Callahan and multi-instrumentalist Anna Liljas, the Stroby Alliance's freak folk sound is lush with woodwinds, accordians, electric organs, mandolins and caveman guitar solos. In 2007, they relocated to Sweden, where they have had a lot of fun and coffee. Hej då!
