sci-fi, sci-nonfi, black sweatshirts, worldview warping, RPGs, coffee, beer, i actually quit quitting smoking and smoking...i don't do either one anymore, procrastination, sudden mood swings.

Television
futurama, heroes, my name is earl, the flash series from the early nineties, battlestar galactica, the old doctor who, dawson's creek (btw dawson's dad was the flash), all star treks except enterprise (quantam leap guy CANNOT be in star trek...they have to be new faces to allow believability and typecasting...that's just the way it is), firefly, if law & order is on i can't look away, same goes for 24, invader zim, friends, family guy, that 70's show ...
i pretty much don't watch tv, but if a show is worth watching i'll buy the dvds.
Books
currently about to start The Ringworld Throne by Larry Niven, also apparently reading The Crucible, with which i am almost done.
stranger in a strange land, ringworld, the mote in god's eye, dune (all of them), the end of eternity, atlas shrugged, losing julia, xanth (the comedy/fantasy series), the demu trilogy, glory road, foundation (the whole stinkin' lot of 'em, though to be honest i haven't read the prequels yet and i have a good reason. the prequels pick up where the empire series stops, and i haven't read those yet. see?), skinny legs and all, cat's cradle ...
(while my list contains only a few titles by heinlein and asimov, i enjoyed everything by them i've read...i don't remember all their books, plus i'm stating for the record now that i'm not the biggest fan of making lists. k bye)
My height is listed below as 5'6", which is an approximation. My routine response of "5'5" or 5'6"" was recently challenged, so I just want to state for the record that I am probably somewhere between those two heights, but since I don't know exactly, I am willing to negotiate.
"Be who you are and say what you feel because the people who mind don't matter and the people who matter don't mind."

"...but hands do perspire when held too long, don't they?"
- Ayn Rand
"People who are busy and happy don't write diaries; they are too busy living."
- Robert Heinlein
"Does the prophet see the future or does he see a line of weakness, a fault or cleavage that he may shatter with words or decisions as a diamond-cutter shatters his gem with a blow of a knife?"
- Frank Herbert
Who I'd like to meet:
Strong Bad. Also Leonardo DaVinci.
Holy shit! I never expected to get all three! Here is your reward: What a brilliant time; we were tourists in our own town. Wacco, wizard, and smashing! Necessary imprudence has been too long overdue for me... chance I to make it mundane through habit? ehemhrmmm... Maychance!
So I looked up Meshuggah on wikipedia and they look awesome! Also I'm already on the fourth disk of Battlestar, I just can't stop watching it! Thanks for all the everything. I'll see you soon!
reality pushed away from this soul covered in the shroud of inconsequential outcomes a slow fade of white to grey to black to grey to white and on the horizon the sun sets or does it rise this clock within has kicked a spring thus lopsided is time
Blast. So camera facing west, overlooking 96? It seems like many things are missing that should be visible from that angle. I'm confused. Maybe because I have ridges for eyes.
i havent been able to get to the game =[ i'm starting to make emo tears. .. if you ever come to see your mom. you should kidnap the game back and bring it my way.
Reading a book right now, you might get a kick out of it...The Five Languages of Love by Gary Chapman...it's not sci-fi, but it could be depending how to look at it! Maybe even horror!
I am able. And I shall. And if any passing gods happen to mistake my hope for prayer then that's just fine too. They prolly won't do anything about it, but it'll, well... it'll be nice. Won't it?
see anything wrong with this amazon statement... "The record is the Crows' first studio album in almost 5 years, since the release of Hard Candy in 2002. "?
