The Relevant Stage is a bold, new company in residence at the beautifully restored Warner Grand Theatre in the charming, downtown San Pedro arts district located amid wonderful art galleries, a variety of "A" rated eateries, and uncluttered area parking.
Productions are conveniently scheduled to allow plenty of time for brunch or an early bird meal before our 1:00 PM matinées, and dinner and coffee before and after our 7:00 PM evening curtains, conveniently located steps away from the theatre, in the Port Town of Los Angeles.

ABOUT the WARNER GRAND Theatre
Located at 478 WEST 6th St in San Pedro, CA 90731, The Warner Grand Theatre is a lavish, art-deco theater opened to the public on January 20, 1931 during the magical decades for films in the 1920s and 1930s. Jack Warner called it "The Castle of Your Dreams."
Designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca and
interior designer A.T. Heinsbergen. Mr. Priteca designed three lavish
art-deco palaces which were located in San Pedro, Beverly Hills, and
Huntington Park. Priteca later designed Hollywood's famous Pantages
Theater. The Warner Grand is the last of the three original
theaters left intact.
Who I'd like to meet: Do you know a teen interested in intensive performing arts training right here in San Pedro at Warner Grand Theatre?
Then tell them about our new program, TRS YOUTHORIZONS!
TRSYH is a pilot program sponsored by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
We will offer over 180 hours of instruction over 4 weeks, 5 days per week, from 9AM to 4PM. The program culminates in a production of Disney’s High School Musical on the Warner stage, in which all enrolled students participate. The program begins June 30 and training ends July 25. July 27 will be the two performances of HSM at Warner Grand Theatre.
The cost for our program is much less than other similar programs – only $350 per student. And we will offer 10 scholarships based on financial need and talent. All forms and additional information may be found at our website: www.therelevantstage.com
Please contact camp@therelevantstage.com or 310/929-8129 if you would like us to bring materials or information to your school. Registration ends June 24, and space is limited.

If you're into horror/poetry, visit drummer Mike Paradine's, book website at www.KingofToys.net. "Daniel is a five-year-old boy who suffers horrific abuse at the hands of his drug-addicted parents. The only way for him to escape his harsh reality is to delve deeply into his world of toys. This is a world where he loves, and is loved by, his favorite playthings. After an episode of serious abuse, his second-hand toys can no longer sit idly by, and they spring to life to take revenge on his parents and their guests. Lead by a mangy stuffed bear named Erik, this army of broken down toys plan an all-out assault on the unwary group. As the battle rages on, a mysterious figure arrives, and Daniel learns the truth about a family secret. It is the story of a boy’s dream to have a normal family household, no matter the means to that end."
