Former anarcho punk roadie turned Champion Sound mash up radio DJ (currently doing monthly show for (www.radio4a.or.uk). Ran the ‘Free Radical Sounds’ record label & website (www.freeradicalsounds.com). Compiled the critically acclaimed ‘Nu Shoots Inna Roots’ vocal & dub version compilation albums. Ex guitarist for U.K festival faves ‘Godhead’. Have spent recent times mainly concentrating on producing radio specials (Joe Strummer, On U Sound, Studio 1 etc) and programmes for Radio 4A.
As a freelance interviewer, recent interviewees have included Adrian Sherwood (On U Sound), Chris Salewicz (Strummer biographer), David Mingay (Rude Boy movie director), Barry ‘Scratchy’ Myers (Clash / Pogues / & Strummer DJ, also Trojan records compiler). Do you know my good friend KT and her fella Mark in Brighton.I sold them an old m reg ex bt transit about 6 years back. Not much chance eh.. I like your picture with the kids/drugs reference.Mine are 15,18,and 21 and the drugs are more appealing than ever.....
