We would have to say it started with growing up in a small town, Madonna, New Kids on the block, The Judds, Faith Hill, popsicles, and the Dixie Chicks.
Now has evolved into many different artists and things....colorful guitars, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, live performances, Taylor Swift, Leann Rimes, The Fray, Jason Mraz, cowboy boots, trucks, Our Family and Friends, The Wreckers, local talent, sweet tea, the Frio River, Uncle Gary's blues, BOYS, being twins and just a zillion others.....

April: I will have to respond in typical female fashion.... SHOEs....specifically my new egyptian flip flops that you got us for our birthday a month early:) haha

Ames: Well....I think I'm just really funny to you....not to mention I have some pretty funny friends...aka: Meredith Jumper..she'll love that mention.
Ames: April, If you had to go to the mall and buy one thing for yourself what would it be?

April: Amy, What was the last best day that you had and why?
Amy: My trip to New York....I wrote 3 new songs out of that trip, rode a mechanical bull, and visited my first burlesque bar....can't beat that.
Amy: April, What color snow cone is your favorite?
April: If I had to pick a color...I would pick tangerine....because I'm feeling "tangeriny"..mmmm I can just taste it... (while she gets up to get one)
April: Amy, if you could take any boy dancing who would it be? like a famous person...
Amy: Tatum Channing or JT....cuz those boys can move....but not sure if they can 2-step...that's the key right there.
Amy: Ok April last one....If you had to write a song about something right now what would it be about?
April: "my tangerine popsicle left a stain on my lips".....and then I kissed a girl and I liked it....hahaha Oh wait...that one's already been done. No but for real...I would write about waking up on the wrong side of the bed...How do we wake up on the wrong side of the bed when we went to sleep on the right side???
