About me: The Rack is Kevin Church and Benjamin Birdie’s first foray into straight-up webcomics together. They’ve enjoyed working with each other so much on the Nitroglycerin promotional strip for BOOM! Studios that they’re now devoting themselves to telling the story of the people behind the counter at Yavin IV, Southern California’s finest emporium of pop-culture delights.
While Kevin’s primarily a writer, this time around he’s assuming a “showrunner” role for the strip: he wrote the series bible and is going to contribute a few strips a month while Ben’s going to do most of the heavy lifting with both writing and pencils. Birdie’s name should probably go first, really, but “Church and Birdie” just sounds better.
