The band was founded in 2006. At first, The Poseurs tried to play different kinds of music,
but soon stayed on political thrash ska-punk/core, inspired by such bands as Choking Victim, Leftover Crack, No-Ca$h and other bands. Music is fast and raw, with grindcore and thrash-metal pieces; their main lyrical themes are about atheism, government’s corruption, anti-xenophobia and so on.
Guys have been pretty fucking up with that stupid nazi scum and fascist pigs situation recent years. It’s a big problem, and filthy government even pays money for all the crime all these wp-idiots make. The situation is the same with damn copper pigs, who use their powers to support the corruption and crime processes. Society became sick and stinky.
Other thing is intolerant musicians at russian underground punk scene. Everybody likes to sing about unity, being together, staying crew and other shit but no one acts in such a way.
Such and other things inspired The Poseurs to write the rest of their songs.
