   About The Pennock Stephens Project

MySpace Layouts

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Acoustic Guitar

The Pennock Stephens Project came together in the Spring of 2007 when Bobby Pennock met Michael Stephens, they played some music together in the basement (where most music is born) and Bobby's son Isaac (along with Michael's cat Betty) decided the two should form a band.

So much for free will.

Bobby bought an electric piano, Michael bought a guitar strap and a new shirt, and they began learning each other's songs.

Soon they were joined by guitarist Terry Birkett who just wandered in off the street one day and the music got even better as a result. Isaac and Betty couldn't have been more thrilled.

Someone - it is unclear who - decided The Pennock Stephens Project should begin performing for money. And if you have found your way to this page, it is your money they're after.

Please do not be alarmed by this. They are willing to work for it.

Turn up your speakers and listen to the dulcet tones of Mister Pennock singing his song Parables Unfold. Lend an ear to Mister Stephens singing about one Hallow's Eve when direction and love are lost in a fog, or how a young Mexican girl fends off, at least for a time, the power of a billion stars. Then ask yourself, wouldn't you like to hear these gentlemen playing in your fine establishment? One day when The Pennock Stephens Project is a household name (like Britney Spears or Captain Kangaroo), wouldn't it be nice to tell your grandchildren that you knew them when?

If this is not a compelling reason to hire them, then consider this: Young Isaac would like a raise in his allowance. And Miss Betty would be quite pleased with a better class of cat treat. Are you really the sort of person who would deny a child or a cute little cat?

Or how about this: The Pennock Stephens Project has their own PA system. They put on a good show. They're reliable, don't drink a lot, and, for a group of middle-aged men, are quite handsome. (See photos.)

I will sit here by the computer and await your decision.

Hey Mike Smith -

Thanks for the note! Would be great to share a show with you guys, don't you think? We should definitely do something about that. I so enjoyed hearing you and Bobby the other night. Great stuff.

I just submitted a SonicBids e-kit to White Crow - we'll see what happens! Could you put in a good word for me? Just don't tell them about my short term memory issues. Also, don't tell them about my short term memory issues. :)

Maybe we could hook up a show there??? Or anywhere - would be a good time. Let me know if you have any ideas about that.

All the best to you both! Hope to see you soon.

Hi Guys. I discovered you along with the Open Mike Cafe. I love your music, it just moves me. Thank you very much.
I have no comment to make upon the pic except that it is a Cottage Name Plate from the villiage of Mousehole in Cornwall. I do believe there is a song in there somewhere if only one can get it out!
Thanks for the music my friends, all the best from across the pond.
