My Name is Brian Pace and I'm a Journalist/Executive Producer. I'm originally from Indianapolis and worked in Jackson,Mississippi; Detroit, Michigan; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Memphis, Tennessee. I started this My Space Page to post my music interviews, written commentaries, and give you insight on pop culture, politics, technology, and religion. The goal of the Paceface Report is to take back what corporate media has done away with. As a journalist I believe you the readers must have another voice. A voice that's different from those talking heads that talk at you in print, radio, and television. I hope that you'll allow me into your homes via podcasting,in your radios and televisions. If you have a new cd, book, or doing something positive in the communiity, I want to produce a story on you. All Jazz, Rap, Alternative, Neo-Soul Artists this is where you'll eventually get lots of exposure. If you have any questions or want to get info to me you can e-mail me at thepacereport@yahoo.com
I want you the readers to click onto my My Space Friends. For years, friends have been asking me what cds they should buy? Well, as the site fully develops, you'll have time to listen to new artists as you click on their site. You'll be able to order their music and pass it along to other people. You the reader have a choice. Radio has given you a limited selection of artists and music styles, The Pace Report gives you Jazz, Afro-Beat, Neo-Soul, Groove, House, Dub, Dusties Soul, Standards, and Cutting edge Rock and what's happening globally. Finally, some of the pioneers of music are also posted in my My Space Friends section. Legends like Steve Cropper of Booker T and the MG's and part of the Stax House band of the 60' and 70's. Fusion Jazz Artist and Composer Eumir Deodato who was also responsible for producing Kool and Gang and other major R and B artists in the 70's and 80's as well. On their site, you'll be able to learn about their backgrounds and hopefully you'll buy and continue to support their careers. Also, new artists like Jazzspects, Bebel Gilberto, N'dambi, Amy Whinehouse, and Pete Levin. So enjoy the Pace Report and please most importantly support the artists!
