The Others was born at the end of 2005 as an experimental side project which brought together musicians from several other bands (hence the name) and allowed them to explore new styles. The band went through several consecutive changes before finally settling down to the present formula.
Having gained public support for their music through their dynamic live performance, The Others decided in early spring of 2007 to record 4 of their songs on a demo, Crazy City. Their hit song Your World entered the CityFm ROMTOP in the summer and the title track of their demo featured on the MYM 4 compilation in Sunete Magazine.
Technically they are a mix of 2 sexy genres, funk and jazz, seasoned with a psychedelic sound and welded together by their unmistakable trademark, the groove. Petra’s exquisite voice and their unusual approach to songwriting have both added to the newly aroused buzz surrounding The Others.
In 2007 they took to the big stages and made their festival debut, playing for Coke Live, Stufstock and Fanfest where they gained favorable reviews. After a full year, The Others starts 2008 with the desire to conquer the ears, minds and souls of audiences from as many cities as possible.
The Others have played in Brasov, Arad, Cluj, Bucuresti, Vama Veche,Rosia Montana, Craiova, Timisoara, Iasi where they have impressed the audience with their sound.

The Others entstand gegen Ende des Jahres 2005 als ein experimenelles Seitenproject welches Musiker verschiedener Bands zusammenbrachte und ihnen erlaubte neue Stilrichtungen zu erkunden. Nach einigen konsekutiven Änderungen erreichte die Band schliesslich die aktuelle Zusammensetzung.
Auf Grund der positiven Reaktion des Publikums auf Musik und live Performance der Band, beschlossen deren Mitglieder, im Frühjahr 2007, vier ihrer Stücke auf einer Demo-CD, genannt „Crazy City“, zu verewigen. Ihr Hit-song „Your World“ wurde für die Top 10 des Radiosenders “City FM” nominiert und das Titellied ihrer Single wurde auf der MYM 4 Kompilation des Sunete Magazines veröffentlicht.
Technisch gesehen sind The Others eine Mischung aus 2 Genres, Funk und Jazz, mit einem Hauch von psychedelischem Sound, alles zusammengefasst in ihrem unverwechselbaren Markenzeichen, dem Groove. Petra’s exquisite Stimme und die eigenartigen Kompositionen der Band tragen kräftig zu ihrem Aufschwung bei.
Mitte 2007 begannen The Others die grosse Bühne zu erobern. Sie spielten für „Coke Live“, „Stufstock“ und „Fanfest“ wo ihre Musik sehr geschätzt wurde. Für das Jahr 2008 haben The Others es sich zum Ziel gemacht viele Zuhörer in möglichst vielen Städten für sich zu erobern.
Die Konzertliste der Band umfasst bisher Städte wie Brasov, Arad, Cluj, Bucuresti Vama Veche, Rosia Montana, Craiova, Timisoara, und Iasi wo sie die Zuhörer mit ihrem Sound beeindrucken konnten.

The Others est né à la fin de l’année 2005 comme un projet expérimental secondaire (d’ici le nom) qui a mis ensemble des musiciens provenant d’autres groupes (Holtzkopf et The Noish) et les a permis d’explorer des nouveaux styles. Le groupe a passé par quelques changements consécutifs avant de s’établir dans la formule actuelle. À la suite du support du publique que leur musique a gagné par ses performances live dynamiques, The Others a décidé d’enregistrer quatre de leurs chansons sur un démo, Crazy City. Cet été leur chanson hit Your World est entrée dans le CityFm ROMTOP et la chanson homonyme du démo est apparue sur la compilation MYM4 du magazine Sunete. Du point du vue de la technique ce qu’ils font est un mixe de deux sexy genres, funk et jazz, assaisonnés avec un son psychédélique et réunis par leur inconfondable marque, le groove. The Others ont récemment défrayé la chronique et attisé la curiosité grâce à la voix exquise de Petra et leur façon distincte de composer les chansons. Ils ont performé à Brasov, Arad, Cluj, Bucuresti, Vama Veche, Rosia Montana, Craiova, Timisoara, Iasi touchant l’auditoire avec leur son. En 2007 ils ont débuté sur les grandes scènes, pour la première fois dans des festivals comme Coke Live, Stufstock et Fânfest, en recevant des comptes-rendus favorables. Après un réjouissant an 2007, The Others ont commencé la nouvelle année avec l’envie de conquérir l’oreille et l’esprit des auditoires dans le plus de villes possible.
