| About theothermarkmiller |
"In alternate lifetimes throughout history, Mark probably would have been venturing the world with Marco Polo, enjoying good conversations with Ghandi, following Jesus around Galilee, helping free the enslaved through the Underground Railroad, and been stoned to death 2 or 3 times by the religious right of the day.
Being born in the early 1980's, he is now able to incorporate all of those mythical past lives into his current life as a songwriter - immersing himself in the beauty and intricacies of various cultures, hearing the stories of the oppressed and exploited, and sharing these experiences with us through honest lyrics and compelling melodies.
Past adventures that are actually firmly rooted in reality include: helping build a village for the deaf in Jamaica, hanging out with children in the Mexican slums and Belarussian orphanages, living in Japan for a year as an "artist in residence," and recording with Nashvilian/singer/songwriter/producer Andrew Osenga (The Normals, Caedmon's Call).
Now he invites us into a world where love walks beside the afflicted, hatred is repaid with compassion, and true beauty catches us by surprise."
theothermarkmiller's passion is for loving those who often go unnoticed, and bringing other people to them to love them in practical ways that will change their lives forever. This is the focal point and reason for his life and music.
ATTENTION: If you are putting on a benefit concert for a non profit organization that is sharing our vision for helping hurting people, all we ask for is expenses to be covered, though under certain circumstances this can be waived if necessary. Examples of organizations we love to support are - Invisible Children, World Vision, International Justice Mission, To Write Love On Her Arms, Compassion International, etc. In most cases we would love to donate a portion of merch sales from the evening to the benefiting charity!

nice profile pic! how are you doing?
Nice I'll most likely be able to make it. Is it going to cost something? I'm assuming so. I'm an art major here. I'm pursuing a masters in photography. And no, I didn't go to the game. I've never been to a game.. going to games isn't really my cup of tea haha. Plus my parents came up to see me this weekend. So there's my excuse.
Hi there! That's awesome you're coming up to k-state.. hopefully I'll be free to go and see you play. I see you're from Leawood Kansas.. me too!
I'll keep you posted
added your shows to our public calendar, looks like your staying busy. I'm working on something here for you, maybe late May... I'll keep you posted

Belarus is great. it's cold here =) many things have changed but i like more of the changes. we've got a new church that came out of the Goodnews church - New land church. And we no longer have youth and teens ministry separately - we united them. i am studying and working this year so i'm really hoping to somehow squeeze some projects in my schedule =)) that would be awesome if you came here again!!!
hello! oh well i was finally writing "thank you"s for everubody when i noticed you had myspace. hehe. i'll get on that site to listen to that. my week has been great! very busy though. i study and work and it doesn't really leave much time for the things that i enjoy doing =)) so you're a musician now?? you're Christy's brother, right? and i guess you were here a few years ago.
