Sounds Like
A folksy, bluesy 43 year old guy with a childlike ambition to make music and sing it to the world...
Who Am I?
My name is Matt Marsh. I am 43 years old and have been writing songs since I was 15. After 4 years in the US Navy and 18 years working for corporate America I have decided to take "my show" on the road. I just recently started taking guitar lessons to accompany my songs (I did mess around with the blasted guitar for 15 years before taking a single lesson!). I am proof that there is no substitute for an education. : )
What's In A Name?
My mother's married name was Marsh when I was born. My real father's name was Roy McClory. He was the most decent person I have ever met. Since he left this earth I have tried to figure out a way to honor him. I have decided to use his name (finally!) as a token of my high esteem for this wonderful man. Thus the name "Marsh McClory".
What's Up With The Logo? The logo is Pangaea. This is a theoretical map of what the world looked like millions of years ago. At one point the world was one. With technology it has become one again. This can be a good and bad thing at the same time depending on what we are doing with this technology. While I don't want a one-world government, I do want a one-world religion of peace and prosperity. Emphasis on the word "PEACE".
What Am I Doing?
Life is short. I figure I have another 30-40 years on this planet to make a difference. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife, 3 great kids, good friends, and a prosperous career in the car business. God and America have been very good to me. I feel it is time to give back. I hope my songs will help at least one person realize that we can all make a difference. That we all count for something.
What Are My Plans?
Well, like any other singer/songwriter it is my hope that someone in the music industry will notice me and perhaps think there is a place in the vast landscape of popular music for my "stuff". In the meantime, I will continue to write songs and perform them whenever and wherever possible.
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

We are an open mic event--all ages--all talent levels. We encourage ORIGINAL MATERIAL, but tolerate covers if that's all you've got. Everybody's gotta start somewhere.
If you're just starting out--come get some experience!
If you're a seasoned performer--come be an inspiration!
Great seeing you play late the other night. That's cool as hell you're playing Glitters bday show in April. I got put on the April 5th gig at Mardi Gras. I've got to come up with 55 minutes of live material. Considering I have a song that is 49 seconds long, I might be playing a ton of shit. Tell the family hi and I'll catch you soon!!
Just checking in, and giving you an update on where I stand with the recording of my debut record.
We have recorded all of the instrumental tracks, and most of the vocals. I was lucky enough to collaborate with a group of amazing musicians, and things are starting to sound awesome!!!
I hope to have all of the recording complete by mid March; leaving mixing, mastering and duplication to be done.
If all goes well, the record should be released sometime in April.
Great show last night man! You gear all sounded great in the audience. Carlos did a great job as usual. I'm glad I got over my drum machine phobia because it was a lot cooler playing with it. It's almost like you have a band but can't see them. Plus, they don't run into you, cause problems, punch someones husband, etc...Take care and I'll see you soon. Your family is great
Last week, my site was hacked. I want to apologize for the offensive videos/messages sent to you. I will be changing my password more often now! Thanks to everyone for letting me know! So, on with life! Thanks for your understanding and support and trusting that I wasn't that "kind of girl"!
While I’m here, check out my page for a new song I recently wrote, "Joshua".
