The amount of talent that lies within THE NEW HOTNESS is so insurmountable that mere words cannot define it. Separately the three members of the band have such a vast range of musicianship that it is hard to imagine how they might all fit together, but you see, therein lies the truth. Sure they have all been playing music for the last twenty years of their lives. Having had gigs at clubs all over the southland and the nation including some of LA’s best the House of Blues, the Troubadour, the El Rey and the Roxy just to name a few. Sure they have each had extensive experience in recording studios, engineering classes and tour buses learning the ropes of the industry. Sure their songs have been published and placed over the years by many TV programs and films including the WB, HBO and MTV, just to name a few, but does any of their past really matter today?
The real truth is that THE NEW HOTNESS consists of more than just three hard working guys who love to make music. It is less about what HAS happened and more about what IS happening. THE NEW HOTNESS is the future. The future Conan? Yes, the future. Not the future of music like some bands might try and sell you on, but simply just the future.
You see, THE NEW HOTNESS was forged by the gods of rock n roll past for a purpose. That purpose? To be used as a vessel to carry on the spirit of rock n roll. A spirit which in this day and age has seemingly long since vanished. A spirit which only the old-timers of rocks’ past remember the feeling of. A spirit which is being drowned in a sea of moneymaking, commercialism and quick-return investments.
Make no mistake; THE NEW HOTNESS are not saviors of rock n roll, but servants. Missionaries that have come to spread the hope of the spirit of rock n roll and bring healing to those that have been without it for too long. This message of hope lives in their hearts and in their music, but do not forget, this is a message of old which is being rekindled by their fire. The hope of this message was alive yesterday, is living today and will live on forever!
