   About the Luckless Pedestrian
--- --- --- --- ---

In the Spring of 2007, the Pedestrian released her first album, a 6-song EP entitled Sweeping, Soaring which, until further notice, is still available for purchase through email contact (TheLucklessPedestrian@gmail.com - just let her know you want one!) - $7. For details on this album, and/or to join in a conversation about it, click here.

Some time in 2008 will bring the release of a 2nd EP, four sweetly orchestrated pop songs which are swimming with more of the jazz influence that is slowly becoming a trademark of Gwen's writing. This album is even more heavily 70's in sound, as- even though she is only 26 years old, Gwen has become increasingly skilled at arranging her songs to have a feel that is more in-line with her musical-center, which is somewhere certainly set in the late 60's/early 70's, as is suggested by her primary influences- Steely Dan, The Free Design, and Stephen Sondheim. For further details about this album (its arrival-date, names of people involved, stories of the recording process, etc), watch this space.

Gwen continues her pursuits of preparing clear, intellectual, and compelling orchestral pop, and this latest recording was a huge step in her development of her arranging and producing skills.

--- --- --- --- ---

What is on the horizon for Gwen?
Gwen has connected with a Dutch musician by the name of Berend Dubbe (of Amsterdam's Bauer, and former drummer of the Dutch band Bettie Serveert). Berend's involvement on the latest Luckless Pedestrian recording was invaluable and there are more new project ideas being developed between the two of them than can even begun to be listed now. But stay tuned for all the details of their exciting new adventures in song together!!

LOL, wow that picture is really funny! Do you have any more of them?? I remember making a bunch of messed up OJ Simpson pictures. I moved back to Seattle recently and started graduate school at the UW. I've never felt so busy and overwhelmed :( I saw a bulletin that you're moving to MA- I've always wanted to go there, I actually really tried to get sent to a training class for work that took place in Boston last year, but ended up in Florida. How soon do you move? I'd love to meet up sometime if you're in Seattle.
