The Light Factory is a non-profit arts center dedicated to exhibition and education programs promoting the power of photography and film. Each year thousands of people visit The Light Factory at our home in Uptown Charlotte's Spirit Square to experience our exhibitions, take classes, hear talks, and see films. Incorporated over thirty years ago to serve as an art space where people could view the best in lens-based media, classes are offered throughout the year in SLR and digital photography and filmmaking.
The Light Factory's outreach programs are conducted in the Charlotte community serving students of all ages and backgrounds. The Light Factory is the only non-profit 501-C3 center for photography and film in North and South Carolina, or Virginia.

Hey - thanks for the add. I am going to be touring the completed project of FacesofAsheville. com regionally the summer of 09. Charlotte is about as far east as I was thinking I'd like to go. Maybe you all would be interested in hosting, or if not, helping me find somewhere to display the exhibit briefly?
