About me:
|
Who I'd like to meet:
| | |
I DON'T COLLECT PEOPLE! | DON'T
ADD ME IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TALK TO ME |
Most people just
call me, John
|

Male | Aged 24 years | Santa Clara, CA |

| About Me: |
I'm a recent graduate of Central Michigan
University.
I have a degree in Photojournalism - but don't
mistake me for some idiot with a camera. Unlike
most of the people who say they're photographers,
I actually know what I'm doing.
I upfront, honest, and come across as a very
serious person. My self confidence comes across
as arrogance to those who don't know me very
well. And I view a lot of things as black and
white, but do by my best to find grey.
I was born and raised here in California. However,
after getting tired of my surroundings I left
and took time to live in other states and travel
other countries. Those experiences I value more
than most anything else I've done.
Now that I'm done with college I have to start
figuring out "real life". I'm pretty
damn sure that I don't know what that means exactly.
I hope to have some time and money to continue
to travel and see new places with new people
soon. However, I know it will be a while before
I get that chance again.
I'd like to continue to do news photography out
here on the west coast. It's going to take a
while to build new connections though, so we'll
see how things pan out.
I take advice everywhere I can get it, learn
from my mistakes, and enjoy speaking to those
with experience. I'm happy to help others with
anything I can. And I openly admit that I have
much to learn; and take ownership for my mistakes.

If you're a friend of mine,
and want your eyes below... send
me a message
If you're not on my friends list, I
won't add your eyes. Sorry, I don't list people as
friends that I don't know.
|
Friends of mine, in no particular order...
and because I think Top 8 drama is lame...
| A little bit more about me: |
I
love traveling, and will go somewhere new whenever
the chance comes around. Unfortunately the
last two years I spent at CMU have
kept me from going very many places. To date I've
only been to eight different countries - and no,
none of those are Canada or Mexico. Haha, that'd
be too easy.
I'm the first to admit that I'm a huge computer
geek and photography nerd. While they're both big
interests of mine, I tend to be more interested
to hear your story, and what you've done in life. I
ask a lot of questions when I first meet people.
But, as I said, I'm a bit of nerd. That said, I
do maintain a website in my free time. However,
over the last year I've had less and less time
to maintain it. But if you want to check out some
of my old stuff, you're welcome to do that here.
I've been accused of taking life too seriously.
People tell me that I need to slow down and not
rush all the time. I'll smile and tell them "Sure,
Ok." knowing full well that that's just not
me. There are too many things in life that I still
want to do.
I explain myself as that "I plan for things
that are months from now - but I always remember
today."
I'm somewhat of a health freak... mostly from
an exercise standpoint. As busy as I am with work
and school, things like running or working out
is definitely a release for me. It's the one time
of the day that I leave my cell phone and camera
at home. I love working, and photography is great.
But I'm pretty sure that if I had to stop exercising
I'd go crazy.
I don't drink and get trashed at parties, I'm
fine drinking just a Coke or something. People
find that part of me strange, I'm not really sure
why.
Lastly, I'm not part of the MySpace popularity
contest. If you have over 2,000 friends, then I
probably don't want to be the 2,001st. If you want
to add me to your collection, are just adding me
cuz you like my profile, adding me because you
think I'm decent looking, are one of those people
that posts 60+ bulletins a day with crap like "new
pics" "new blog" or "comment
please", then I probably will decline your
request.
I AM here to find new friends and reunite
with old ones. If you're an interesting
person
or if we have actually met at some point in life,
then by all means...
add
me. Oh, and message
me to say hi or who you are so I don't delete your request. |

Dislikes: |
| It's hard to irritate me... but I'll try and list a few things that bug me... ignorant
people who speak on topics they know nothing
about. People who don't size the 200 photos they post on their profile. People who try and collect
me even though I say not to. Kids under 21 who post photos of themselves holding alcohol. And most important - Pe0p1E wHo tYPe lyk3 diS shouldn't bother
asking me for help until they realize that that's
not cool. |
Who I'd like to Meet: |
Interesting, fun-loving people.
I once met a girl on a train in Italy who spoke
four languages... and a guy in a hostel in Spain
who was actually from the UK and there looking
for an RV to buy. I know a lady who came to the
US on a raft from Cuba to give her family a better
life... stuff like that, those people are pretty
amazing. But I'm still surprised by the everyday
people I meet too. Like the guy who'd never left
his town of a couple hundred people until he was
20 years old, and the guy that's been working in
the same shop that his and grandfather did his
whole life. |
Lastly, about my profile... |
| Yes, I designed it myself. I've also
helped Sean with his, and completely designed my
friend Desi's profile as well. I don't build
profiles for people I don't know, only good friends
of mine. Sorry, I just don't have enough time to
help everyone. If you have a simple question, I'll
do my best to answer it. However, realize that if
you have to use Thomas' MySpace Generator or anything
like that, designing a page like mine is probably
not something you'll be able to do. |
