About me: The I-ROCK Nightclub was founded in 1989 by three brothers. Adam, Steve and Ted, who are musicians themselves, and formed a band when they were young kids. They called it American Jam. When you walk in the I-ROCK nightclub, it is a walk down memory lane. No where else in Detroit can you catch... Mitch Ryder, Shadows Fall, Leif Garrett, Corey Feldman, Testament, Quiet Riot, God Forbid, Faster Pussycat, LA Guns, Lamb Of God, Foghat, Kittie, Yngwie Malmsteen, Missing Persons, Rik Emmett, Tuff, Silvertide, Chimaira and many others all in an intimate club setting. The I-ROCK is the place to catch upcoming bands up close and personal, unobstructed by trend-trawling hipsters. What's more, the drink prices won't bleed you dry. The PA is first rate and the bar personnel eschew attitude in favor of friendliness. Come on in and enjoy what Detroit musicians have to offer!
