The Hope formed as a 3 piece back in 2004 but soon added a second guitarist to their ranks. They soon started gigging at local venues and started to quickly gain a loyal army of fans. After their first self release - A 5 track e.p titled ‘Lay Down, Roll Over, Fuck You!’ - They soon stumbled across ‘their’ sound. Influences were taken from Guns N Roses, The Clash and The Libertines and they soon started to write what would become the bands ‘anthems’. A second self release ‘No Money, No Class, No Hope?’ caught the eyes and ears of promoters and label managers alike and now, as we move towards spring 2007, The Hope’s eagerly anticipated first label release is imminent. Only a little while to wait now until The Hope are unleashed upon a far wider audience! Watch This Space…..
