The Honored Guests are the Chapel Hill, NC, alternative rock trio of Russell Baggett (vocals and guitar), Jeremy Buenviaje (bass and vocals), and Andrew Kinghorn (drums and vocals).
The group formed when Baggett and Kinghorn, who'd been in the Chapel Hill band Milo for five years, started making demos and had Buenviaje join them. Their first album, 2004's Iawokeinacityasleep, was recorded at their home studio and co-produced by the band with former Ben Folds Five member Robert Sledge. ~ Richie Unterberger
