Stories about the Zoo (ask Ponch about that!) and most every type of sonic stimuli available to man - (Except for bad bar band solo acts butchering Johnny Cash songs.)
Sounds Like
The sound a kaleidescope might make if it wrote, recorded, and performed music rather than being a somewhat useless but interesting visual device.
The Gypsy Van is more than just a band. It’s more than just music, more than sarcasm and cleverly placed VANtastic puns. The Gypsy Van is on a trip to change the world. It’s insane that 25,000 people die each day because of poverty caused hunger, yet here in the United States we have mega-supermarkets with shelves full of things like diet dog food. That’s just crazy. We think we’re so civilized, but our apathy is barbaric. History will condemn our society as technologically advancing, but societal Neanderthals. So how do we change things? The first step is public awareness. The news networks break into regular programming for the latest spoiled rich girl’s incarceration or rehab, but where are the breaking news stories about those who die every 3.6 seconds just because they are hungry? Where are the TV specials and newspaper articles? Don’t the hungry and poor deserve some airtime? Unfortunately the media only provides what people want to hear, and right now not enough people care about this. So how can you make a difference? There are plenty of great organizations out there for you to give money to, and a percentage of The Gypsy Van profits go to some of them. We’re not going to tell you where to give your money. A quick Google search will provide many options you can check out. We also won’t get on a soapbox and brag about what we do behind the scenes, but just giving money is not the answer. We need to get involved – hands on! Maybe you can’t travel to Africa to help build an orphanage, but are there needy families in your area? Think not? Did you know thousands of children under the age of twelve in the U.S. goes to bed hungry every night? It’s time to do something! Is there a homeless shelter you could volunteer to help with? A food pantry you could help with? Changing what we do will change how we think. Get involved. Make some noise by making a difference, and then spread the news. The world doesn’t need another charity concert or another rock star on a soapbox. The world needs YOU believing that things can and will change. That’s what The Gypsy Van trip is all about – just being the decent human beings we should be. We’re just crazy enough to think that together we CAN change things. We make music because it’s what we love to do, and we hope you love our music too. Rock out! We’re having a great time creating this stuff and aren’t trying to be all Debbie Downer on you! We’re rolling with a purpose, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to have a great time all along the way.

Ah, I see. Thanks! Are you a fan of Plato, or just a casual reader? (Can Plato have casual readers?) I've read just a few, but I loved The Republic.
I suppose my confusion lay with "your cup" rather than "my cup". I now understand that you're implying it's her cup in that she's trying to give it to you as poison. I was simply questioning why SHE'D be the one drinking the hemlock. Listener misdirection!
I must say, sir (Aub), that I love the lyrics to "Hate Me, Save Me". But, why the Socrates line? It's one of my favorites, just due to how you say it, but I was looking for the background.
Cause I know Tim :). I was supposed to be in the Percussion Ensemble group he's leading, but I had to sit out this semester cause of how busy I am. Where do I see you guys play? Sounds good guys, keep it up.
