About me:

www.TheGamerTraveler.com

The Gamer Traveler Podcast aims to combine two of my greatest passions: gaming and travel. In each episode, we look at a travel destination around the world, talk about its history, ways of reaching it, and noteworthy sights, then we cap it all off by looking at ways you could use the location, or some of its elements, in your adventure games.

The show began as a minicast, a recurring feature playing as part of the Dragon's Landing Inn Podcast throughout 2006. Originally intended to be a 5-10 minutes segment, each subsequent episode grew more in length and scope. By the end of 2006, I made the decision to take the show solo and turn it into its own podcast. This is the result.

In The Gamer Traveler Podcast, you can expect a look at a variety of locations around the world. We plan to have special "live" shows, with segments recorded on-location, as well as soundseeing tours. We also plan to have interviews with other gamers who've traveled, so they can share their experiences as well.
