About me:
I am a native of Istanbul, Turkey who has lived in San Francisco, Ca for the last 14 years. I came here to go to school and after a B.A, an MBA and a few stints in discovering and not liking the wonders of high-tech world in the Bay Area; I finally ended up in the industry I was born to conquer. I breathe, live and work in fashion, and I love every second of it. I am currently serving as a marketing assistant at Igigi, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of fabulous women's clothing in sizes 14-32. Let me answer your question before you look at my picture again and ask it, I made a conscious decision to work at Igigi. It may be a byproduct of having grown up in a culture where some meat on your bones is considered attractive or my four years spent at an all women's college, but I do believe that every woman regardless of shape and size has a right and a formula to looking good, and everybody feels better about themselves when they look together which ultimately leads to positive energy and happiness. And although I can't wear the clothing, I am a big fan of the Yuliya’s designs, and I really like the company and the people I work with. So there is going to be a ton of information and discussion here about fashion in general, Igigi, and other interests. I am also an avid fan of Bikram yoga, photography, skiing, San Francisco, sarcasm as long as it is carried out in a humorous way, penguins, cheesecake and French fries, people who make me laugh, shopping, dancing, and sea shells. I care deeply and passionately for people I love and try to be respectful of other people's thoughts and opinions as much as I can. I live in the Marina District and you can often see me running on Crissy Fields and singing aloud to Pet Shop Boys or some Turkish tune as I go about my way completely oblivious to the rest of the world. My favorite part of town though is Presidio Heights. I love the houses and the little boutiques there and everyday add another name to the "banks to be robbed list" and dream of the days when I can shop frivolously at the Grocery Store, Divine Girls, BCBG, Red Dot and, of course AmbianceSF (my former residence) A girl is allowed to dream, isn't she?

Who I'd like to meet:
People who are nice, creative, don't take themselves so
seriously, educated, interested in the rest of the world, like to hang out in bookstores and clothing stores, work and party hard, care about their families and heritage, who can appreciate a great band like Pink Floyd and Eminem at the same time, most importantly people who are passionate about something in life!
