About me:
THE FAITHFUL is an independent documentary feature project exploring the images of Elvis Presley, Pope John Paul II, and Princess Diana and their prevalence to our modern visual culture. With material spanning seven years, THE FAITHFUL ties together religious experience, social connection, and global capitalism through the images and representation of Elvis, the Pope, and Diana.
The Faithful draws compelling connections between these seemingly disparate worlds and finds that they are different embodiments of the same quest. What initially might have seemed strange, kitschy, or crass on the surface reveals itself as a sincere expression of love, grief, and loss.
