OSCUROS was originally intended to be a Satanic street gang as well as a band in 1997, but I soon realized that such an aspiration was of a sub-human social mentality below my intelligence and talent. Therefore, I chose to concentrate on the musical rather than the criminal aspects of my interests. The decision proved to be a wise one, as most of my acquaintances of those days would soon find themselves in prison, on the run, or trapped in a casket. After my stints in the L.A. bands Aeternum and Mictlantecuhtli, I decided that I would collaborate no longer and bring OSCUROS to life as a 100 percent solo effort. Here, all my own unique vision, inspiration, and anguish come alive on my terms. I create pure black metal, heavily inspired by the inimitable 80s Satanic heavy metal essence, as well as mind-numbing urban decay...Beware of OSCUROS... - D-Muerte
Awesome. I was torn between which cover to get done. Probably chose Melissa because it's not as overtly satanic, yet still evil in it's own way. There's alot of great music being made these days by doom bands. If you haven't given Pentagram a listen before, check them out.
