Tailgunner Joe & the Earls of Slander deliver a sophisticated, intellectual, yet vernacular blend of Southern Comfort-soaked, cowboy-booted punk rock n' roll and shredded denim, studded leather-wearing alt-country, all with a twist of aggressive indie garage. It's an uncommon combination of genres for an uncommon combination of players. The Earls deliver raw, American-style rock n' roll with combining the aggression and controversy of their namesake 1950's American tyrant and the intellect to appreciate Chuck Palahniuk. The members of the Earls of Slander are proud to be unusual and counter-cultural, yet nonetheless devout, Christians. All attend and volunteer at their churches on a weekly basis.
