The Dry was/is:
a band from Dunedin,New Zealand. We have been around in some form since about 2002/2003. Our musical influences include art/post rock groups, classical composers, electronic musicians etc.
with andrew moving to japan, the dry as a live band is in hibernation. it is the working title for matthew's future solo (or otherwise) projects.
right now he's experimenting with (among other things) acoustic music, electroacoustic music, post-rock, or maybe a mixture.

had a listen to all your tracks (demo 3 being the best IMO) and a sneaky look at your photos shows that i do know patrick but it's embarassing to say where from, suffice it to say it was a show we both did back in 1997
